Our Story

Hacienda El Castillo is a cacao company located in the Cerecita Valley, 55 kilometers east of Guayaquil.

An area with unique characteristics and an ideal climate for cacao cultivation: rolling terrain with high sunlight exposure, sufficient rainfall during winter, and controlled irrigation in summer.

The proximity to the Pacific Ocean, soil salinity, and a variety of endemic flora preserved around the plantation contribute to the richness and complexity of our cacao’s flavor.

Fine aroma cacao with a light floral acidity that reveals subtle citrus notes. It has an intense and distinctive chocolate flavor.

In our nursery, we apply environmentally friendly practices. We carry out careful post-harvest handling and fermentation processes to achieve uniform beans of exceptional quality.
